Sodalite, Sunset Tumbled Stones
Sodalite is rock-forming mineral best known for its intense denim-like coloring.
Sunset Sodalite contains large Feldspar inclusions that add an orange, sunset-like flair to the traditionally blue stone. The combination of orange and blue gives one a sunny disposition and nearly instantly brightens a mood.
Sodalite occurs in igneous rocks that crystallized from sodium-rich magmas. This member of the Feldspar family is often confused with Lapis Lazuli due to the depth of its blue coloring. You can usually tell the difference between the two because Sodalite often contains white veining that isn't as prevalent in Lapis. You can also differentiate between them by searching for Pyrite inclusions — which often signals the presence of Lapis.
Sodalite promotes rational thought, objectivity, truth and intuition. Sodalite can also help one achieve emotional balance and peace during panic attacks. Use Sodalite to enhance self-esteem, self-acceptance and self-trust.
