Pinolith Tumbled Stones
Pinolith — or Austrian Pine Stone — is a very rare semi-precious gemstone that's named for its Magnesite (Howlite) inclusions that resemble pine cones.
These stones form when Howlite nodules settle in layers of graphite and Dolomite. Until 2018, one one mine was known to produce Pinolith, though more have been found in recent years.
Practitioners all seem mixed on the energy and emotions that Pinolith exudes. The stone seems to resonate differently with every person who touches it. The soft energy often provides a cooling sensation that strengthens one's connection with the stone.
As a stone that resembles pine cones or pine nuts, it’s no surprise that this is an earth stone that helps ground one to the energies around them, while easing the burdens of stress and anxieties from within.
