Despite the name, Grape Agate isn't actually an agate at all. Instead, this material is actually Botryoidal Purple Chalcedony.
Botryoidal means that round tiny sphere shaped crystals that have naturally formed together.
Although Grape Agate forms in clusters of tiny ball-shaped spheres — which gives it the appearance of a bunch of grapes — Grape Agate tumbled stones have a singular rounded structure that often shows off the great purple and green colors, with hints of the former grape spheres that bunched together.
There aren't many people offering tumbled Grape Agate at this time, because of the newness of the material and the high cost of production. We're proud to offer these amazing pieces that are all hand-picked for quality and aesthetic beauty.
You will receive one stone, which has a size/shape that may vary due to each stone being unique in color and form. Most stones range between 0.6"-1.2"
