Cavansite is one of the rarest stones to find in a tumbled variety, as its thin blue crystals require great care when tumbling and polishing. Truly tumbled versions of this stone — like those offered through this listing — are difficult to come by.

Cavansite, as a whole, is becoming harder to obtain. That’s because the main area where it’s mined, in India, is being built up quickly and the land that yields the most Cavansite is being covered with high-rise apartments and the mines are being filled in.
