Aragonite is one of the most commonly occuring calcium carbonate minerals (along with Calcite). These minerals form from both biological and physical processes — the most common of which is precipitation from marine and freshwater environments.
Aragonite is found most heavily in Molina de Aragón in the Province of Guadalajara in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, for which it was named in 1797.
Aragonite functions as a stabilizing stone that helps to ground and center the energies around you during times of stress. Use these stones before, during and after meditation to heighten your spiritual development.
Many also use Aragonite to uncover truths in confusing situations.
All tumbled stones are priced and sold individually, unless otherwise noted.
Due to the unique qualities in each stone, sizes can vary from 0.75 inches to 1.75 inches per stone.
