Amazonite — also known as Amazonstone — is a green tectosilicate mineral, a variety of the potassium feldspar called microcline. The name was derived from the Amazon River, where the stones were once found.
These stones contain a green to greenish-blue color. The striking nature of this stone make it a regular favorite of jewelry or cabochon makers.
All tumbled stones are priced and sold individually, unless otherwise noted.
Due to the unique qualities in each stone, sizes can vary from 0.75 inches to 1.75 inches per stone.
