Crazy Lace Agate, also known as Mexican Agate, is one of the newer versions of agate — compared to other specimens that have histories that date back many thousands of years — and has been in the trade for only a few decades.
Mined exclusively in Chihuahua, in Northern New Mexico, Crazy Lace Agate certainly knows how to live up to its name. The intricate banding and wildly colored stones are a favorite of jewelry makers and stone collectors alike.
Each of these stones consists of banded chalcedony that's infused with iron and aluminum to create a stunning color palate.
You will receive one stone, which has a size/shape that may vary due to each stone being unique in color and form. Most stones range between 0.6"-1.2"
