Sodalite, Sunset Tumbled Stones

Sodalite occurs in igneous rocks that crystallized from sodium-rich magmas. This member of the Feldspar family is often confused with Lapis Lazuli due to the depth of its blue coloring. You can also differentiate between them by searching for Pyrite inclusions — which often signals the presence of Lapis.
